An adopted son of former Military
Head of State Mohammdu Buhari has being reportedly arrested by men of the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for allegedly defrauding a
businesswoman, Mrs Florence Nwokocha a sum of N20million,
According to SR, Mohammed Buhari, was introduced to Mrs Nwokocha through his account officer at Ecobank, and had promised Mrs Nwokocha a 10% annual profit from an oil deal which she was made to invest N20m in. Mohammed After receiving her money, reportedly disappeared. Mohammed claimed he ran into trouble after losing bank guarantee which he secured from another new generation bank, when he was nabbed by the EFCC. He is currently in the custody of the EFCC.
