NEWS****Amidst Tight Security in Abuja, Workers Celebrated Their Day


Workers in Abuja today 1st May 2014, celebrated May day at the eagles square. The venue of the celebration was cordoned by security agencies, and all roads leading to the square were closed forcing workers to trek about 200 metres to the square. Armed personnel from military, police,and Nigerian civil defence corps, suppored by sniffer dogs took position in and around the venue.

NNAN also reports that tow vans and fire engines were deployed in and around the square for any eventuality.
it was also observed that communications went off as subscribers to various Gsm networks could not make nor receive calls after Mr Presient arrived the venue.

  1. for how long will Nigerians live in fear ; going about their business amidst tight security. i dont think the north and south can ever agree.truth be told we really need division for peace to reign besides there is nothing common about these two set of people; different values , different culture, different in everything. lets be truthful to ourselves
