The Ogun state FRSC said three persons were killed while three others sustained injuries in an accident that occurred on the Papa-Ilaro road  on earlier today.
The FRSC Unit Commander in Ogun, Mr Fatai Bakare, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sango-Ota, Ogun,   that the accident occurred at about 5.45 a.m.

Bakare said the accident involved an articulated vehicle with registration number XB 641 BBR belonging to Dangote Group and a Volkswagen bus.
He said the occupants of the bus were family members and friends  heading to Lagos State from Ilaro.
Bakare who  attributed the cause of the auto crash to over-speeding and careless driving, said  the driver of the articulated vehicle lost control and  collided with the bus.
He said that three of the occupants in the bus who were male died instantly while three others were injured.
“ The corpses of the victims had been deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital in Ifo while the injured persons are also receiving treatment at the hospital,’’  he said. (NAN)
